Legends of Rock is another entry in the popular Guitar Hero series.

Guitar Hero III's new songs will keep you coming back, and the cooperative offline mode adds a lot to the experience. But will it be enough to stem the tide of Rock Band? Only time will tell.

Activision is taking a hint from its competitor, Rock Band, in announcing they will be adding a drum set, bass guitar and microphone to the next iteration of Guitar Hero. Activision says their plan is to try and win back fans that defected to play MTV's version of Rock Band.

The Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero III will soon feature a new free song thanks to a collaboration between Bungie, Activision, Neversoft, and Microsoft. The iconic Halo theme, MJOLNIR Mix, will be available for download from Xbox Live on November 22nd.
