Review
Editor
We are currently looking for capable review editors to review games
for various platforms. A reviewer must not only enjoy playing video
games, but have a critical awareness of all of a game's parts. Responsibilities
include writing accurate and non-biased reviews, communicating with
the staff and other admins regarding said reviews, and meeting assigned
deadlines. A review editor is typically given 1 to 2 weeks to play
through a game until its end and write a review. More time will be
provided if needed. We are primarily looking for PC, PS3, and Wii
owners, but those with other consoles may still apply.
Qualifications: Previous writing experience is highly recommended.
You must have a passion for video games. A degree in english or journalism
is a huge plus. Having access to the most recent video games is preferred.
Hours/Availability: Negotiable. An editor typically posts one
or two reviews every 1-2 weeks.
Pay: None at this time (voluntary). Those who are dedicated and
reliable may be granted a paid position in the future. Writers who
prove themselves to be trustworthy will be supplied with
games to review.
