The underwater epic title that was Game of the Year under its reign for the Xbox 360 is coming to eager Sony fans in the very near future. It has been confirmed that Ken Levine and 2K Boston's masterpiece will land on Sony's console, the PS3.
Details are very slim at this point, but there are reports saying that there could be graphical improvements over the Xbox 360 version and there are speculations that the game should make it into consumer's hands before the upcoming holiday season. Take-Two's PR contacts are only giving out "no comment" replies when asked, but it is expected that an official announcement will be made very soon.
There are no details as to what extra content, if any, will be seen on the PS3. The only extras that Xbox and PC owners received were more plasmids to play around with. With as much fun as the underwater world of Rapture was on the Xbox 360 and PC, we're sure that PS3 fans would be happy to take that dive even if the game arrives in its original form.
