As one of the most anticipated games of 2007, the Bioshock team needs to say little to make rabid fans start drooling. In a recent video, they did far more than that, as more about the game was explained in an interview with Irrational Games' leader, Ken Levine.
During the interview, Levine elaborates about some of the game's weapon types as well as how it actually plays. Of the eight weapons players can use, they are all customizable and can use up to three separate types of ammo. In addition, furthering the uniqueness of the game, there are also Hypodermically Implanted Plasmids, which give you what could be equated to the likes of magical powers. For instance, one option allows you to shoot lighting from your hands, which can actually be amplified if an enemy is near an open water source.
More is featured in the video, but as the spiritual successor to one of the most universally praised games of all time (System Shock 2), there is little more that's needed to be said for gamers to want their piece of this action/RPG/horror/FPS hybrid.
