The much anticipated zombie shooter Left 4 Dead has been delayed two weeks. Originally set for release on the Xbox 360 and PC in early November, the game will now be make it into stores on November 18. The game has received praise from those who have previewed it, impressing both the press and gamers alike with its intense focus on cooperative gameplay.
This delay is likely to disappoint many who have been eagerly awaiting the game, but this changes little for one group of gamers. PlayStation 3 owners hoping for a port have had little luck. Rumors circulating the internet recently pointed at a possible port, but they were quickly shot down by the developers. Fortunately, this delay could have been much worse, given Valve's "when it's done" release date history.
