According to an announcement from Namco Bandai at TGS 2008, it turns out that the longtime Sony mainstay, Tekken, is jumping over to the Xbox 360. Tekken 6 will be coming to the 360 next fall in a simultaneous release with the PS3.

Director of Tekken 6, Katsuhiro Harada has stated that "the game will retain all of the elements from Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection that were well-received by fans." He also said that the stages will "be bigger and will have more interactivity and the character customization feature will be more involved with gameplay."

Although already released for arcades in Japan, Tekken 6 won't be available in America or Europe until the fall of 2009.
