God of War for the PS2 was a groundbreaking game series that Sony is hoping that it will translate well into a new PSP game. 1UP has their own impressions of the PSP version, along with quite a few exclusive shots that look great.

This time, Kratos is playing for the gods, not against them. The game will tell the story of the 10 years leading up to God of War 1 for the PS2. It will explain the various reasons for his departure from their services, as well as try to stay true to the original game's storyline.

With the way the game appears to be coming along, Chains of Olympus is shaping up to be a slam dunk, just like its console big brothers.
