| Reeling from the decision of a Texas judge, Nintendo may have to cease production of the Wii Classic, GameCube, and Wavebird controllers. The judgment comes after Nintendo lost a $21 million dollar case aimed at defeating charges of patent infringement. The Judge in the case ordered that Nintendo must begin paying royalties or face having production of the popular controllers banned. The situation may be put on hold as Nintendo files an appeal. |

June's NPD figures indicate that the Wii, continuing with its consistently astonishing sales rate, has finally overtaken Microsoft's popular console. Designed to enhance the accuracy of the Wii Remote's motion controls, the add-on will plug into the Nunchuck port at the back of the controller.
