If you have the capacity to overlook its technical issues and have a group of friends who like the genre, Castle Crashers could be worth a download. However, until a patch arrives, the game cannot be wholeheartedly recommended.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a first-rate downloadable title, and if you don't mind 2D platforming gameplay with a bit of old school challenge, this is one to check out.

If you've been on the fence about the series and are looking for a good entry point, you could do worse than Retro Evolved 2 - just don't expect a full Live Arcade feature set or anything in the way of compassion.

While there's a fiendish level of difficulty disguised in the hearts and rainbows, Roogoo offers just enough goodness to satisfy the sadistic puzzler in all of us.

At a cheaper price, Rocketmen may have been worth a look, but as is, it's not even worth a trial download.

Given the amount of quality puzzle alternatives already available on XBLA, Mr. Driller Online should be avoided at all costs.

If you enjoy 3D platform puzzlers, you could do a lot worse than purchase Switchball. However, some of the negative factors in the game can make it an incredibly frustrating experience.

If you like puzzle games, then you should definitely check out Puzzle Quest. It is a puzzle game with a purpose, and that small detail helps make it one of the best of the genre.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a classic retro title with much more content than the first in the series. It's a shame there's no online co-op element included, but there's still hours of fun to be had here.

With lots of fun to be had, this is a solid game, and despite the frustration of trying to pull off special moves on the 360's pad, is well worth a look.

How much play the casual gamer will get out of Marathon: Durandal is dubious, but for fans of the original series, this is an XBLA must have.
